I check daily. I had her journal saved as a "mr favorites." However, when I went the last few days and tried to check on her, it wasn't working. So, I had to google her name and it took me to her journal. Not sure what happened but wanted to let you know.

Kyle and I have a basket of goodies to bring by for you. Would you mind? Did you ever listen to the CD's I sent in your first care package? I would like to bring you another one, if you would not have a problem with that. Just let me know.

I am just so happy for you guys and I hope she just keeps up that fight in her and pushes on! She is going to grow into a beuatiful young lady and all the hard the work now will pay of later.

Although, I don't post daily,I check daily and am so elated that you are doing so well. She has that fight in her.

Is there anyway you would allow us to drop of a care basket for you and baby Ashley - only if you feel comfortable with that.

Always in my prayers...
God Bless...
In Christ,
Amy and KyleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33735305.post-78514930505374793292008-01-21T03:22:00.000-06:002008-01-21T03:22:00.000-06:00Wow, that sounds like our house. It reflects your ability to keep perspective and model that for your children.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Ashley Kate will, indeed be dribbling that ball one day. :)

Blessings. gretchen

P.S. If you have a moment, as the mom of a chronically ill infant, I know you will have compassion for little Annie on my blog. Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary since her traumatic brain injury. I'm asking people to pray and to wait in joyous anticipation of what God is going to do in this little girl.Gretchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02576409086020993015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33735305.post-22333492999613866192008-01-20T16:29:00.000-06:002008-01-20T16:29:00.000-06:00Team work, this is what it is all about for Allie'...Team work, this is what it is all about for Allie's team, Blake's team, and the Adams family team. No matter what comes, facing it with team work always makes the team stronger. Your family has proved this over and over as I have followed Ashleys story for almost a year. And it will be all of your family team work that helps Ashley catch up to herself in the months ahead, some times winning, some times not, but in the end, it will be your love for her that brings her through, and of course, the Lords. Praying that she continues healing in the Lords time and stays healthy and ornery!! Have I told you how good it is to read about your "normal" life in that yellow house?:) God Bless all five of you.

Love, Laurie in Ca.Laurie in Ca.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15599832324966859946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33735305.post-75942166976833139412008-01-20T09:05:00.000-06:002008-01-20T09:05:00.000-06:00WOW! I know that made all of you so happy and it does me too; just wish I could have been there to see it. And Ash getting to go is so wonderful! I'm so thankful she's doing so well. God is sooooooo good! It still amazes me just how much the Lord has brought her through. Some say He doesn't do miracles any more, but oh how wrong they are; we have living proof, don't we? Sorry about Blake's team, but it has to happen some time and most of the time his team is the winning one so it's ok. Love and Hugs to all and we'll see you soon! So glad you guys are getting to enjoy her games as a family. Your family certainly has experience facing Giants. An amazing day, who would have thought a month ago that Ashley would be going to a basketball game today? I continue to pray for more miracles in your lives. Maybe even a year off from the "giants" would be nice. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. Your family has been a true blessing to me.
MichelleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
