Post Surgical Update

Trish just called and said Ash is back in her room. She is running a temp of 101 and her respiration is running high at around 60-70, the vent is set on 30. Her heart rate is my main concern. She is up around 220 bpm. Trish says she has not closed her eyes or slept any since coming out of surgery. She is fighting against the vent and fearfull of her situation. I ask that you please pray for her body tonight. Please pray that her heart will slow down and she can divert some of that energy into fighting this infection. We do not take your prayers for granted, we appreciate each and every prayer from each one of you. Ashley's story is rough road and we ask that you please hang on with us and keep her in your prayers daily. Please continue to share her story with everyone you know because we will take all the prayers we can get. We are so concerned for our Ash.

Please don't worry that your request for prayers are somehow beginning to be a burden to anyone. They are not. I think everyone on here probably agrees that they feel a special honor in even getting to know about Ashley and be the smallest part of GETTING to pray for her. Yes, the road is indescribably long right now, but as much as Ashley, Trish you, and the kids are facing, it's nothing for all of us to keep on praying!!!!
