Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

2/06/2007

She is resting...Quietly

"Hear my cry, Oh Lord. attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You. When my heart is overwhelmed... Psalm 61:1-2

I don't know how long it is going to last, but I wanted to share with you that she is now resting quietly without screaming. I am so very thankful for your faithfulness to pray for my Ashley. I now it must be difficult to carry part of our burden for us and I just want you to know that you are making a difference. He is listening to the many cries that go up for her. My prayer for her is that she might rest well tonight and that He may just remove whatever is causing her discomfort. How wonderful it would be to have her wake in the morning and begin to laugh and play once again.

My heart became overwhelmed today, and I am afraid I may have vented a little too much to a few nurses and doctors. I pray they will not hold it against me and that they may forgive me if I offended them in my desperation.

Thank you for praying for my Ashley. I am going to go "listen" to the silence and be grateful for the rest she is receiving. Good night once again. Trish

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4

Praying peace over you both tonight.

My heart aches for you both. There can never, never be enough venting when you know your child is in pain. The strength you have displayed is amazing to me. Your faith is an inspiration. Tonight my prayers are that the Lord will take away the pain and fill you and Ashley with the comfort and rest you need.

Truly an answer to prayer!

Praying that Ashley continues to get the rest her body needs; that she continues to take her feedings well; that you are refreshed, renewed and ready for today.

God Bless.

Praise God! What a blessing it must be to see her resting and to be able to rest yourself. I pray that with today answers will come and it will be a continuance of the good night you shared.

Praise God that you are able to rest, and also praise God, for He will find what is wrong with little Ashley and convey this to the medical staff, so that you may all finally go home and be the family that He wants you all to be. God bless you all. Barron&Cindy

I hope that things get better today. You have proven yourself to be a very strong person so if you need some time to just let it all go, do that. Go and scream. We are all here "listening" and whenever you need to vent, we are willing to listen. I continue to pray for Ashley, you and your family.

I pray that Ashley is still resting well today. You have the right to make the doctors dig to find out what is wrong with your baby, I'm sure that team of Doctors and nurses there, are in awe and scratching their heads at this mother, because they probably don't see the dedication to their child that you have displayed, you are an inspiration, Trish, your are a wonderful mom and wife. Hang in there! Lord, I ask that you wrap your arms around this woman that you have chosen to be the mom of this little Ashley, give her strength to get through another day and give her the hug that only you can give. In Jesus Name, Amen

Praise the Lord for quiet rest...

Trish, don't ever think that we are all "burdened" by sharing in this with you. It is an honor and a joy to be able to have some tiny part in Ashley's Story, just to be able to pray for her and all of you. Thank you for your updates and for your continued openness with us.

We're still praying. I'm praying that they will find out what's causing her pain--something is, that's for sure.
