This can't even be real

We went to draw Ashley's 6pm labs and her lines wont work. Neither of them. X-ray has confirmed they are out of place. This can't be happening. It just cant.

They can't get a peripheral. They are calling the pedi-flight team, and anesthesia and interventional radiology.

Basically we are headed back to the OR to try and get some access. They want interventional radiology to try and place the line under fluoro.

This can't even be real. If you had any idea how bad she looks from all the bruising and attempts and surgeries over the past week you would be sick to your stomach. I know I am.

Her risk for infection is higher than it has ever been. This is so not real.

We've been at this for 2 hours. Its going to be a long night.
