I just read Ash's guestbook and I am so touched by the things you guys write to us and to her. Thank you so much for remembering my "Gherkin" in your prayers.

Tomorrow Ashley's campaign will be having its official kick-off at Oakland Heights Baptist Church from 2-5pm. I would like to thank all of you who plan to attend in advance. It is amazing to us to see the support and love of so many people who don't even really know us. We are so grateful that each one of you plans on playing a part in Ashley's Story. I would have never dreamed that God would allow me to be a small part of something so big. As more and more people talk with me about Ashley, I realize more and more what she means not only to my family, but to all of you. I thank you for your love and concern for our little Gherkin.

Thank you all for helping me with your prayers. I know that tonight because of your faithfulness I will be getting good rest and not worrying about my Ash. I know that many of you will lift her up in prayer as I sleep.
