Still Waiting
I just wanted you all to know that we are still waiting for our turn in the OR. They seem to be very busy today, which makes me sad knowing that so many people are sick or hurting.
Ash is not feeling very well today, but her daddy has managed to juggle all of her tubes and wires enough to rock her to sleep. What a gift! She is snuggled up on his lap and looks more relaxed than she has all day. She is getting a transfusion of platelets right now and her kidney function has stalled once again. We are not sure what is going on inside of her body to cause all of this.
I just didn't want anyone to worry about not hearing from us yet. We will let you all know something as soon as we know something. Your continued prayers touch our hearts and we are grateful. Trish

Thanks for the update. I have been praying all day for your sweet baby. I love to look at her pictures...her eyes just sparkle when she smiles! I can't imagine how hard this is for you and your family. I keep praying for peace for all of you, and know that God is holding you close. How could you ever get through this without Him? Oh how I pray for Ashley's healing! Take care...

Thanks for the update. I have been checking on you all day long. Please know that we are praying for Ashley, you and her dad and the Drs. and nurses who are caring for her. Also, in your earlier post you talked about feeling guilty. Please don't! Just remember, He gave you that precious baby girl and He made you love her with all of your heart. He surly will understand your questions and fears. Please know that your faith is a blessing to so many people.

Dear Lord...hold Ash tight as she goes into the OR & I pray that the vent will not be needed post testing/scope. Thank you Lord for being there in the midst of things with Trish & Dave as they are going through such a tough time.....pray for safe travel for Dave as he prepares to head home...& ask you give Trish an extra measure of strength in his absence. Pray for Blake & Allie...You know each & every need this family has & I lift them up to you.... Thank You JESUS....thank you that we can pray & that YOU can heal....
