Good News...We're Moving Up!

Morning rounds are over and all things are pointing up for us in Omaha today. How blessed we feel this morning to get the official word that we will be leaving the ICU unit at some time today. I am so grateful for the work He is doing in Ashley's body. Everyone has commented on the pink rosy glow of her skin this morning. I was able to pick her up and hold her on my hip(here favorite spot) and walk around the room a little this morning. As the doctors came in to see her she began waving bye-bye and letting them know that she is ready to go. She clapped her little hands on my cheeks and stole my glasses. She is so very awnry.

I feel so very encouraged by the progress we have had the last few days and I can only give the praise to the One who created her. We are so very blessed. It may take all day to get up stairs but as I said yesterday it is one step closer to home, and that is our ultimate goal. Thank you for praying for us today and for loving our sweet Ashley. She is full of energy and spunk today and I am sure she will give us all a hard time as soon as she wakes from her morning nap.
