Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

Daytime? Night time? Daytime?

I am so confused! Is it day time or night time or daytime? We are having a hard time figuring it out. Ashley is really switched around right now. She has been asleep since before noon, and when I attempted to wake her up and make her sit up and be inter active it was a disaster. So I laid her down for a moment to get a diaper and when I turned around she was snoring. Snoring! Like a middle of the night sleep kind of snoring. I too slept for about 3 hours this afternoon and although I know I needed it I am now confused as well. Tonight I am afraid will be another long playing session with no slumber.

In and out of my naptime I have tried to help dress the family from 700 miles away for tonight's concert. This is no easy task. Everytime I would come up with a great outfit they would call me and tell me which pieces they could and couldn't find. I finally gave up and I am just praying they show up dressed appropriately with matching items. This is one area of control I am really struggling with.

Other than having our sleep schedule all messed up we have had a very good day. Ash looks really good and I expect her to be full of personality tonight to keep us all entertained. I am sure she won't disappoint. I will be happy to post whatever she decides to pull on us tonight. Thanks for coming to Ashley's story today. We appreciate all of your prayers and support. Trish

Please tell Dave I will be glad to help with Allison or Blake any time. I have raised five kids to adulthood, have four grandbabies, and another one on the way. I am sure he is exhausted with frustration trying so hard to fill Mommy's shoes. I raised my five kids alone for almost eight years before I remarried. It was tough being Mommy and Daddy at the same time. With God and my loving parents ...........I got through it all!!! Take care and rest all you can sweetheart. Love and May God bless you, Cynthia Adams
