Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

1/16/2007

Going for it ....again.

Ash will be going back into surgery today to attempt to remove the fluid from around the heart. They will be doing it this morning under video fluoroscopy (video x-ray) so hopefully there will be more precision and less chance of cardiac arrest. I don't know this, I haven't seen the research, but I pray this is true. That is about all I know. I pray that things will be uneventful and that Ash will be dreaming of bunnies and tic tacs. I am praying that Trish will have a boring day as well.

Thank you to each one who checks on our Gherkin and thank you for the comments as they let us know that so many are praying for our family.

DAVE

I feel like a broken record, coming back post after post and saying the same thing, but I'm still praying. Praying constantly, praying daily, praying every time Ashley comes to mind--which seems to be all the time lately.

I hope that today goes so much better than anybody expects, and that tonight you can all breathe a sigh of relief. Please keep us updated.

I have sent out a prayer request to hundreds for little Ash and your family. Seems like that is the best I have to offer.
I'm glad Abba has so much more.

Still praying here in Alabama. Praying for a speedy, uneventful procedure. Praying for Trish's strength. Praying for Ashley's recovery (because we are believing that he will). Praying for Dave's peace of mind. Praying, praying, praying, for you all! God is so much bigger than all of this!!!!!

So many praying burden-laden hearts. May we carry some of your burden today.

Father, help us Lord understand Your timing. May we feel your Perfect Peace.

Dave,

I have been praying for you since I found this site, maybe as early as October. I am continuing to pray. Everyday, the many times I think of your sweet daughter, I say a quick prayer. God Bless your family and Ashley.
