One more Night
Only one more night until Ashley's daddy will arrive in Omaha to be here with her. Only one more night of sitting with her alone not able to hold Dave's hand. Only one more night until my friend will be here for me to talk to. Only one more night until we can stand over her bed and pray for her together. Only one more night until Ash's daddy can kiss her little forehead. Only one more night of standing watch all alone in the dark. Only one more night of wishing Dave could be here with us. Only one more night of wondering if he was asleep or awake at this moment. Only one more night until I can let my gaurd down and try to rest on Dave's shoulders for awhile. Only one more night until Blake will be here to love on his baby sister. Only one more night until I can hug my son until he begs for me to let go. Only one more night of waiting to see Blake's smile and here him say that "I'm the bomb." Only one more night until I can sit and laugh with my son. Only one more night until I get the chance to make memories with him. Only one more night of wishing I could place my secret kisses on his head while he is fast asleep. Only one more night until I can draw from their strength and feel renewed. Only one more night until we can sit and talk for hours and hours. Only one more night until I can feel safe in Dave's arms. Only one more night until I can listen to his voice as he quietly sings our baby to sleep. Only one more night until he will be here to encourage me. Only one more night of wishing and waiting.

I am so glad that you have only one more night until your two favorite men are there in Omaha with you. Yes, men...one is just a little younger so he is referred to as "young man". I am glad that Ashley will feel the touch of her daddy and all the love he has for her. I am glad that Blake will finally get to see his baby sister and love on her after 5 long weeks. And Trish, just sit and soak it all in and be rejuvenated, refreshed, renewed, rested, relaxed and rejoice in the knowledge that your "men" are there to undergird and lift you up, hold you, be close to you and help share the load. What a blessing for you. I pray that little Ashley will be able to come off the vent soon and that her little body will be strengthened so that she does not lose her will to fight and that she is tough enough to handle anything that creeps up. Be assured that prayers for all of you are ongoing every day.
Thank you for your portrayal of the love of Jesus that you so graciously and kindly share with all of us and all the families and medical people there in Omaha. We are blessed by you and your faithful service to our Heavenly Father. We do pray for safe travel for Dave and Blake. Bless this time that the four of them will spend together and surround them in love. Keep Your protecting hand on Allie. In His Son's Precious Name~~~~Amen.
Thinking and praying for you family. Hopefully, the night went well and soon your prince will come. Checking in on Ashley all the time. Rest in His arms.
Katy
