Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

12/19/2007

The girls are home

The girls made it in around 3 this morning and both are really tired. Trish came in, put Ash in bed next to me, and then went and kissed Blake and Allie on their heads. They each woke up, smiled ear to ear, told their mom they loved her, and then drifted off back to sleep. Trish came to bed with tears in her eyes. It seems so unreal to have them here with us. Today was amazing. Ashley Kate loves being at home and I had a hard time leaving her in order to go to the office. We have so much to share with you all but I will wait and let Trish tell it. She is still really dizzy and feels crummy so she will wait until tomorrow to get back on the blog. Thank You so much for your prayers. Our prayers have been answered and my girls are home for Christmas. We are so grateful.

Goodnight,

DAVE

Dave, Trish, Blake, Alli, & Ashley,

To know that you are all home as a family the way God planned for it to be is amazing... not just a visit, but home for good!!! Only God could do this... and His love endures forever no matter the circumstances. May you have the most memorable Christmas ever with all your family.

All our love this holiday season.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and yes, God still performs miracles and that miracle is that Ashley Kate Adams is home for Christmas, for the very first time in her yellow house and with Mommy, Daddy, Blake and Allie.
Thank You, Lord, for showing Yourself in a mighty way through
this family. They have been a powerful witness for You and many lives have been touched.

What joy this brings to those of us who have been praying little Ashley home. We honor You, Lord.

Love and prayers~~~Janiece

I've never commented on your blog before - but I've been reading along for a while and keeping you all in my prayers.

And although we've never met, I can honestly say that one of the best Christmas presents I've ever recieved is the news that Ashley is home and you are all together for the holiday. My heart is so happy for you.

Thank you for sharing your story, your love, your faith. Blessings always!

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS has been our prayer for you all along and God has blessed so many people with His "Yes"
answer. The best is the blessings all five of you will be experiencing in your hearts this Christmas. Praise the Lord, He is so wonderful. Prayers continue for you and I just know in my heart that Ashley is going to blossom all over the place as she heals in that "little yellow house".
I am so happy for all of you that words just cannot express. And to Trish, bless your soul for being the mommy you are and enduring so much through all of the agonizing wait. I am sure that now, your heart is so full, all of the waiting has almost been forgotten. Be Blessed Family, I know I sure am for you!!:)

Love, Laurie in Ca.

Praise God! I am so glad it worked out and Trish and Ashley made it home (with a week to spare! :) ) When God moves, He moves quickly and against all odds, doesn't he? Glad your girls are back in Texas. I'm sure Ashley is wondering where all the snow went.
