Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

2/23/2008

Nothing to report

The title sums it up. The evening was uneventful. They never came to remove one of the chest tubes. At around ten, just after Ash fell asleep, the nurse told me they called to say they were coming up to get an x-ray and then would remove the chest tube. I had her call back and cancel it until tomorrow morning. I wasn't going to let them wake her up and do all that tonight, they are crazy.
Goodnight,

DAVE

Good job Dave!! Nothing worse than middle of the night interruptions when you are in the hospital trying to get well!?! I never understood that! You are really chalking up the kudos!
Looking forward to hearing about it tomorrow! Hope you both sleep well tonight.
Thank you VERY much for the post!
God Bless you all!

I will never understand doctors and hospitals. Oh, I see the patient's asleep. Well let's wake 'em up!

Good for you for standing up for your baby! Go dad! Let her get all the rest she can. Sounds like tomorrow is going to be another big day!

I am praising God so much that your few days with Ashley are calm ones and not full of problems. I have been praying that so often for you. I couldn't bear for you to finally see her and have it be under any other circumstances than sweet rest and bonding. Give her a kiss from us. --Nikki

Praise God for nothing! Only those who have lived on the ragged edge of something every time you turn around can fully appreciate the bliss of nothingness.
Lord send them more~
