She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

Arrived

We arrived after midnight eventually settled around 4 am. Slept for an hour. Gave frozen plasma infusions and drew labs. One more hour of sleep and now we r set up at the bedside waiting for the scope to begin and biopsies to be taken. Once the physician arrives we will sedate ash to make her more comfortable. I will remain here at the bedside during the procedure and hope to get the impressions of the doctor and his gut reaction to what he sees.

It's going to be a very long day. These are the experts and my hope is to hear good news.

I haven't resigned myself to the idea that we are here long term. That is going to take a while and my prayer is that we are NOT. I'm glad to be here with the team that knows her insides best, but still wishing this trip was not necessary and that my girl was home where she is happiest.

UPDATE:

Not promising thoughts on the scope. Initial reaction is that he suspects there is active rejection in her bowel. Nothing will be confirmed until late afternoon and a plan of action is not being discussed until then.
