She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

Point of Correction

I just read Trish's post and realized one thing. I think Ash is going to sleep not because she likes my singing, but rather to escape it.

Honestly, Trish, Dave I have procrastinated to some degree to go to Ash's website because as I have gotten older God has made my heart more and more tender. I was afraid that I would always leave this website in tears. Yesterday I visited your website for the first time and I read a couple days worth of journal entries. This evening I have read at least a weeks worth of entries. And you know what? I feel so uplifted and blessed to have the privilege to read your thoughts about your dear family, about the little angel God has blessed you with and about the baby step miracles that God has blessed you with in Ashley's recovery process. Everytime things seem to worsen alittle, God intervenes with a little miracle of hope that delights your souls and the souls of your readers.

I really smiled as I read Dave's entry about his singing ability.

I am certain your heavenly father is smiling as He sees your faith increase and hears your words of gratitude and praise for even the smallest of things.

Your family is so special and so blessed. You all exemplify the JOY of the Lord--how refreshing :-)
God bless you and may tomorrow be a gloriously new day for you and Ashley.

It doesn't matter if it sounds good to you or not, a father's voice is balm to any daughter's soul. Keep it up, she may not remember it, but it's wonderful bonding time. Praise God you were able to hold her and sing to her!
