A good nights sleep....it's relative

I just got my morning update and Trish told me to report that she had a good nights sleep. She said she went down at about 11 and slept uninterrupted until 4 am. I guess a good nights sleep is relative. She did some things to Ash at 4 and put her back in the crib and Ash slept until 6 am. She then woke up again so they headed into the living room and found the Doodlebops on TV. Ash laid on Trish's lap and danced to the Doodlebops. She fell asleep on Trish lap but her arms and legs are still dancing. There must be some magic in those Doodlebops. Ash is wearing yellow jammies today. Before the transplant we would never put her in yellow, because her liver disease had turned her skin bright yellow. Post transplant she is looking so good and her new liver is working so well that she can now wear yellow for the first time in her life. But don't fret, there is pink stitching on it. I am running crazy this morning so I will have to add more later.

great to hear about the "good" nights sleep!! yes..i agree... THAT definitely is relative!! some of us more lazy and spoiled folks need at least a good 6 or 7 straight hours before we would call it "good". haha!
also glad to hear both ash and trish are doing well and still at the apartment!!
and i have to say it's funny how you said...trish did some "stuff" to ash at four..... lol.....i can only imagine all the "stuff" she did....meds....cleaning...changing...diapers...bags....etc.....all narrowed down to "stuff"!! too funny!! oh the love of a mother!!i'm glad to know it's become so .....normal?...for trish...and that she is so very capable of all the "stuff"!! you guys amaze me!!
have a great day!!! still praying....
in Christ--

That's a Mom for you, 5 hours is "good" - and that was how long Ash slept.
So exciting that all is going well. This seems like a miracle. I have to admit that I was so nervous too and wondering just how long Ash could make it at the apartment. This is great! And that she seems to be so happy away from the hospital.
Hope Dave has a safe trip and we can hear more when the internet is set up at the apartment.

praying for you all today. praying that ashley will heal by leaps and bounds in the security of the apartment home. i am so pleased she is doing so well. sorry you all suffered from the bad comment left by someone. those things happen in life, you both handled it beautifully. that person probably just needs our prayers. he/she may have no love in their life. i am praying for ashley and all of you today. write away...your posts are beautiful and i know you have a big following of supporters praying for ashley - so wonderful she is out of the hospital!

I'm back after traveling for a few days--I just got caught up on the last several posts and have to say that comic relief is important! Good for you, Dave, for keeping a sense of humor through circumstances that would break most people. And way to go, Trish, for standing up for your man.

You are GOOD people. :)

(And I am SO GLAD to hear how well the pickle is doing!!!)
