Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

My New Coat

Ash doesn't think she looks as cute as I think she does. I tried to convince her that this is what all the babies who live in Nebraska wear, but she wouldn't even crack a smile for me. I sure am glad she can't tell me what she is thinking cause I'm pretty sure we would have to discipline her and that attitude. Anyway, I sure hope she gets the chance to wear it tomorrow.

Trish ~ I would love to just go over and fill your apartment with food, and make it so clean it sparkles!!! Too bad I didn't have a secret key. The weather is going to be in the upper 40's - low 50's this week, so hopefully Ashley won't have to wear that adorable coat for too long, and can put a smile back on that precious face. Praying that tomorrow will be your special day that God has prepared for you and darling Ash!!!

I think she looks precious, face and all. Trish, just so you know, it's supposed to be 28 for the low tonight here in Longview and in the 50's tomorrow sooo that coat would sure come in handy. I'm sure it will be warmer by the time you make it back home, but who knows. Just the idea that you will be going to the apartment with Ashley is so wonderful. Praying that nothing happens to stop this from becoming a reality. Prayers for sleep tonite and a great morning. Love to you both.

Trish, Ash looks SO BEAUTIFUL! I'm so excited about you two getting another step closer to home! I know you are anxious about it all and have doubts, but rest assured that with the help of our Father - YOU WILL DO JUST GREAT! I have no doubt that you will continue to do the amazing job you always have and that Gherkin will feel so much better once she's out of that hospital room. I love you both and I'm so happy for you. Won't be long before you're back home where you both belong - just wait and see! Grandma
