Sleeping Beauty and the Knight
This little sleeping beauty all snuggled in close to her daddy is now refusing to sleep. For some reason she likes to cry ALL night long and it is making her mommy very grumpy. I think we need this knight in shining armor to return on his white horse(airplane) and rescue us both. If he would show up and climb back into this crib with her then I think the grumpy mommy could take a nap. If only this was more than just a "fairy tale". I guess I will just keep on trying to convince her that she and I both NEED to sleep.

Awww! What a sweet picture! I will pray specifically for sleep for you both! Something about lacking sleep that has ALWAYS been hard on me whenever I'm going through stress. To me, it is THE WORST, so every time you mention needing sleep, I can't help but cry out for you. I am not NEARLY so graceful as you can be without my shut-eye. I will be praying for you all day to get that rest and hope I don't see any more posts until late tonigt - only as an indicator that God let you take a really long nap. Of course, I love every update. Hope you two sleep soundly and dream sweet dreams!

We will be praying, too, that you both get some much needed rest. When I don't get the sleep I want and need, I have to totally rely on the Lord to give me the strength and grace and kindness I need to make it successfully through the day. I have been absolutely amazed at how little sleep I have had at times, and how productive my days are! Not just productive, but by his grace, I can be be at peace, and be kind. Of course, there are times I don't trust him to be my strength, and I fall flat on my face. Praying for you that His strength and grace shine through you, even when sleep is lacking. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
