Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

Received

Davian has now been received by the Father in heaven. My heart is broken again for my friends whom I have prayed for and loved over the last 5 months. They are strong and they are brave and they did everything they could to give their son life. I am proud of who they are and I am a better person for loving their little man. May he now feel the arms of Jesus rocking him to sleep.

Lord please bring peace to that family and comfort them! You know the pain they are feeling and you are the only one who can take that pain away. Lord, thank you for giving them the time with Davian and thank you for allowing Trish to meet them so she could request Prayers on their behalf. Thank you Lord for loving us In Jesus Name.

Lord, We lift Davian's family up to you and ask You to comfort them. We pray that they would know your presence and feel Your arms around them. Thank you for the time they had with Davian on this earth and may they be rejoined together in heaven one day. Lou Ann

Trish, I can't imagine the extra burden you carry of having to witness your friends experience such loss again and again. Your posts of Davian showed great love for him and I am sorry you have to say goodbye. His family will be in our prayers. I know their grief is so deep. But God will comfort them with each day they face from here. Along with the worst days there will be tender memories to lift them up. What a comfort for you to let us know his parents have assurance of a future together with him in heaven.

Morgan asked to tell Ashley:

I love you and I'm sorry you're sick. I want to send you a teddy bear. Will that be safe for you? (if it's new? She asked but I don't know.) Tonight I hope you dream about lollipops and candy and popsicles and living in your very own gingerbread house! Love - Morgan

Oh Trish! I just got caught up on your blog today. I know Davian is with the Father in Heaven pain free and so happy. My heart, however, is breaking for his parents.

I will be praying for peace and comfort for them.

Also, praying for your sweet Ashley and her Mommy too. As well as Dave, Blake and Alli. May God wrap his loving arms around you and give you the peace and strength you need today!

With Love and Prayers,

Shari

Trish, I'm so sorry that you are grieving this loss along with the rest of the burdens you carry. But I have no doubt that God has used you in a special way to minister to this family during this difficult time. You are such a special person. Love and blessings to you.

People were bringing little children
to Jesus to have him touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them.
When Jesus saw this,
he was indignant.
He said to them,
"Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God
belongs to such as these.
I tell you the truth,
anyone who will not receive
the kingdom of God
like a little child
will never enter it."
And he took the children
in his arms, put his hands on them
and blessed them.

Mark 10:13-16

I will continue to pray for Davian's family as they go home....empty handed...and try...only by the grace of God...to carry on in this new life they have been thrust into....one without Davian.
