Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

New Pics

Ash has had a better day today. She has been more active than she has over the last several days, cried less, vomited less and seemed to love life a bit more. I was happy to see her smile for the first time in a few days and for a brief moment I even got her to laugh as I tickled her. Tonight as she sat on the floor surrounded by her toys we saw something amazing happen. She reached out and picked up one toy and started banging it against her little piano. It was the best thing I have seen in a long time. She certainly is not progressing as fast as we had hoped post-transplant, but we are beginning to see signs of mental progress and for that I count my blessings. I am very proud of her accomplishment today.

Thank you for caring and for your prayers for our daughter.

Goodnight,

DAVE

The pictures are beautiful. I was very glad to see them! You are all very special. It is good to see the family I am praying for. I lift ya'll up before the Father everyday and I know he is listening, I can tell by the still small steps Ashley is taking.
I call my daughter Ash as well. She turns 22 next week!! She too was a miracle baby of 2 pounds
You are doing an awesome job Dave and Trish and Blake and Alley.

I'm glad you took the time to post the pictures of all the family. I know things have been pretty stressful for you and Trish. Not only the great demands in caring for Ashley, but the remodeling job going on, your clients, Blake and Allie and all their "stuff".
Thank you for sharing your family and allowing us to travel along the journey of Ashley's Story. May God continue to bless you, Trish, Blake, Allie and little Ashley. So thankful she is feeling better.

Love the photos of your family :) I am so glad Ashley is feeling better. I am so glad more of her old self is returning. My prayer for her this week is that God will restore all the things she used to do. Thank you God for your boundless love! Even though we are so far away, you are in our thoughts all the time!
