This video made me giggle. I love that she kept trying to drink from that cup even though she had ice all down her shirt. LOL! Thanks for sharing Trish!

Hey Trish,

You are so right. We did the same thing with water, and a few bites of the outside crunchy part with chicken nuggets. Your highly attuned sense of balance and priorities is not lost on me. You are right on target -- and she is lucky to have you.

Good Night. And remember, you are another day closer to home -- all together.

Oh my gosh, that is SO FUNNY (I was laughing out loud!) and Ashley looks SO good and happy! Too bad the machines started beeping or she may not have gotten caught! Praying to read those words "Moving on up(stairs)" and "Going Home!" soon. So happy you had some smiles today :o) and thanks for making me smile.

Precious. She has earned a little comfort, and so have you. Wish I was near to keep you company, or let you out into the sunlight. You sound great.

You go momma! Dr's know what they're doing but so do us momma's sometimes! Keep it up!

That was so cute and made my heart laugh just to watch her working that cup. And that "Mommys sigh" says it all. I hope the CT scan showed some great improvement to her bowel today, and I am praying for the lung to stop draining and return to normal. She looks great here and I hope you both get some fantastic rest tonight.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

How much fun are life's little blessings?!?! She is absolutely amazing. It was so much fun to watch her enjoy that ice. What a cutie!!!! My 5 year old daughter asks everyday if there is a new baby Ashley video. She LOVES to watch them. If there isn't a new one, we watch the old ones. She asks about and prays for Ashley every day. You all have an amazing story and I feel very blessed and honored that you are allowing me to be a part of it through your blog. God Bless you and keep up the good work. Trish~you are an inspiration!
Because He lives we CAN face tomorrow!

Oh Trish-I am giggling, but crying at the same time. I did the same thing for my son when he was craving a drink. Sometimes, you just have to. I am so glad you let her do that. The look on her face and the looks with her eyes were funny and determined. Thank you for sharing this. She is beautiful! And I love how you dress her. To make her look beautiful even in the time of not feeling great! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers always.

Loving you from afar!

Shari

P.S. I would have "cringed" at ice down my shirt. She didn't even budge. :-)
