Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

2 sick girls

Tonight we have a sick little pickle and a sick mommy. I have been amazed at how long Trish has gone without getting sick. She is under more stress on a daily basis than anyone I know and yet somehow she has avoided getting sick. I think the stress and the frozen tundra of Nebraska ha finally caught up to her. She and Ash have decided to share this one. The good news for Ash is that this is just a regular cold that regular 2 year olds get and so far it has not seemed to cause any complications. I am certain that Trish is wearing a mask and washing her hands at least 50 times a day. Please be with me in prayer that this cold will not be a set back for Ash and that she will continue to poop less so she can make it home for Christmas. Please also pray for Trish as she is really feeling quite cruddy.

Goodnight,

DAVE

I made it home just fine - no real excitment on the flights. I miss you both so much. Praying that you feel better today - what you really need is for it not to be so darn DRY there in Omaha and in that room! It was good to breathe humidity when I arrived back in Longview last night! Thank you for sharing hugs and kisses with me, Ashley Kate! Grandma loves you with all my heart!!! Keep smiling and keep doing good on your stool output so we can see you again real soon back here at home where you and mommy belong, ok? Praying for good news on Thursday! Love and Hugs, Grandma

Praying for you both to get better! Glad to hear Ashley's output has been down! Praying that trend will continue. Hearing about poop doesn't phase me with 3 little ones at home it's a daily subject! Colds are sure miserable, hope yours doesn't last long!
