Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

Critical

We are getting ready to transport Ash to the airport and onto the plane. This will be our most critical flight ever. She is on the ventilator, paralyzed, but yet she still crys tears. Every other time we have flown to Omaha she has been stable and breathing on her own. Please, please pray for her safety on this flight. I am very scared. The next few hours will be critical ones for little pickle.

We are expected to arrive a little after 2 a.m and Dave or I will update as soon as we are settled into the PICU and she is stable. Thanks for still traveling this journey with us. It means so much more than you could ever, ever know. God Bless, Trish

Praying, praying. That she will be safely transported and met in Omaha by the most capable, wise, praying doctors and nurses. And that God will once again show His might on Ashley's behalf.

I just posted a prayer request for Ashley.

If anyone would like to post her picture for a prayer request link to this site, I made a button.

I hope that's all right Trish. I just want to make sure many are praying.
Love,

Praying...

Find comfort in Psalm 121:
I lift my eyes up to the hills-- where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip--
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you--
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm--
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Just as the Lord was with the Israelites on their treacherous journey to Jerusalem, so is He with you now as you fly to Omaha. He does not slumber, but watches over you and Ashley. The Maker of heaven and earth is also the Maker of Ashley and knows each intricate part of her.

Lord, grant the medical people on the flight and the drs in Omaha YOUR wisdom as they decide how to treat Ashley's illness. Show them what is wrong with your precious child. Let your peace and comfort surround Dave and Trish. Remind Ashley that though she is scared and hurting, her Jesus is always with her. Be with Blake and Allie tonight-- calm their fears and cover them in your loving arms. Amen.

I don't understand the time difference so I'm not sure if you're in the air right now. But anyway I'm praying hard right now in the UK. So sorry this has happened.
