Ashley's Story

She will leave fingerprints all over your heart

White Blessings

Hip Hip Hooray! Ash is off the vent. They took out the tube about 10:30 and so far so good. She is not to happy right now, having a bit of trouble breathing so I am going to take Blake and Allie out sledding while Ash gets some rest. Hopefully by the time we get back she will be more stable and feeling up to seeing Blake, Allie and her dad. God really blessed us last night with 6 inches of fresh snow. So we are off to the park to play in our blessing.

David,
I am so happy Ashley has improved and very thankful it snowed for you. :) Please write in the journal what the kids did while at the park. Us, from East Texas, need to know what other East Texans do when they play in it, in the event we ever get to see it, we might have some ideas, too. :) I am so relieved about your writings of Ash today. Thank (Praise) God! All of these things are really all about HIM anyway, aren't they?
How is Glenda today? She gives her all to her friends and family. Her energy, her prayers, her praises...no end to her goodness. Blessed again to have her for your Mom. And Nick for your dad. Well, listen to me counting your blessings! You and Trish and the kids are a piece of my life and I do not feel "weird" saying I love you. And I do. Very Much.
Smiles~

I woke up this morning and knew that your family would be thrilled with the snow. My husband has the big kids out at the school yard sledding, church was canceled due to the roads this am so we did church at home today, and prayed for your family.
Great news about Ashley, we will keep praying she stays on the road to recovery with no set backs.
Blessings on your day.

First of all --Thank you God for getting her off that machine. Now she can smile at her brother and sister. Next I want to say thank you so much for sharing the little video captions. that just makes things more real for us here at home. We know she is there and we Pray for her daily, but something about seeing that precious little one move and play just makes it Real -the only word I can think of. she is so beautiful and it amazes me how good she is. I am with the lady that said please journal how you are playing in the snow--I am so tremendously jealous. Can I come visit and stay with Trish? My four year old is begging for snow and she has never seen it. Have so much fun, and Ashley keep fighting so you can one day play with them on a yearly visit.

Thank God for His blessings!

I hope Allie and Blake enjoy the snow; they deserve it!
